So, here we go with the blog thing. We thought this would be a good way to keep everyone, far and near, updated with our lives, but mainly with Jackson! Jackson is 15 days old today, and at the moment, he is peacefully sleeping :-) He's been a really good baby so far, only really fussy when he has gas pains or when he's fighting off sleep (wonder where he gets that??). He hasn't gotten on any sort of schedule yet, but we haven't even bothered with it either. I think you just have to go with the flow when they're this little. Having the c-section threw a kink in the plans since his bedroom is upstairs. He's been living in our bedroom, and he'll stay there for one more week. I feel back to my old self again, and look like it, too. It took about a week for the swelling to go away, but I finally don't look like the lady that ate Heather. It's been hard trying not to overdo it, since I am feeling so good. But Wes has been watching me like a hawk. One more week and most of the restrictions they put on you after c-section are lifted- can't wait!! It's been great having both Wes and myself home to take care of Jackson. Of course, it's also been great to have all the family come over the past 2 weeks. Thanks to everyone for their help!!! Thanks again to Uncle Noel for taking the pics. Lots of the following are ones that he did. Enjoy :-)
